Application Options and Deadlines
FALL SEMESTER:
First-Year Early Action (non-binding)
- First-year students who know early that Gonzaga University is among their top college choices should consider the early action application option. Applicants using the early action option must
apply and submit all required materials postmarked by November 15. Notification of the admission committee's decision will be mailed by January 15. Admitted students may submit their enrollment
confirmation deposit any time up to the May 1 deadline.
First-Year Regular Decision
- First-year students selecting the regular decision option should apply and submit all required materials postmarked by February 1. Notification of the admission committee's decision will be mailed by April 1.
Applications received after February 1 will be considered only if space is available. Students whose applications are received after February 1 may be notified after April 1. To reserve a place in the class, admitted
students must submit their enrollment confirmation deposit postmarked by May 1.
Transfer Admission
- Gonzaga welcomes the experience and diversity that transfer students bring to our academic community. Transfer applicants are admitted on a rolling admission basis. Admission decisions will be mailed within three weeks of the
receipt of all required materials. Transfer students seeking financial aid are encouraged to apply by March 1. Otherwise, to ensure a smooth transition to Gonzaga University, we recommend that transfer students mail the application
and all required materials by July 1. After July 1, the university will accept transfer applicants only if space is available.
SPRING SEMESTER:
- All first-year and transfer applicants for the spring semester must apply and submit all required materials postmarked by November 1. Applications received after November 1 will be considered only if space is available.
Admission decisions will be mailed within three weeks of the receipt of all required materials.
***Important Note on Financial Aid: For optimal financial assistance, all students should submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by February 1. The FAFSA is available through high school and college counseling centers, financial aid offices,
and at FAFSA on the Web. Please contact the Office of Admissions to receive additional information concerning scholarships and financial aid. Please download Part III and Part IV of the admissions application. Complete and return
all supplemental forms to the Dean of Admissions at Gonzaga University.

- Send official high school and/or all college transcripts to the Office of Admission. Transfer students with less than 30 semester or 45 quarter credits must submit an official high school transcript in addition to their college transcript(s). High school students with college credit must submit official college transcripts as well as an official high school transcript.
- Test Scores (if applicable)
- Submit score reports form either the SAT I or the ACT to the Office of Admission. Gonzaga's institution code is 4330 for the SAT I and 4458 for the ACT. Transfer applicants who are over the age of 21 or have at least 30 semester or 45 quarter credits need not submit test scores.
Part Three: One Teacher/Professor Evaluations:
- The downloadable forms may be used or teachers/professors may write and send letters of recommendation on your behalf.
Part Four: Counselor/Dean's Report
Additionally:
- Submit a non-refundable application fee of $45. Your check should be made payable to Gonzaga University. Please write the applicant's name clearly on the check.
- Submit all of the above supplemental materials by the appropriate application deadline (see 'Application Options and Deadlines' section). Late applications may not be reviewed for admission.
- Students applying for financial aid should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the federal processor by February 1. Gonzaga's Title IV code for the FAFSA is 003778.

How to Use the Gonzaga University Online Application
|
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from
the popup lists (where applicable).
After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left
column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current
screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct
your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to
skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function
on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.
Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the
application.
